A regular client’s husband found a pair of stud earrings a few years ago and they assumed that they were CZ’s because they looked too good. She has a young friend who is studying to be a Gemologist who has a diamond tester. She believed them to be diamonds. Two other jewellers looked at them and one thought they were diamonds and offered to buy. The other thought they were not diamonds. She called me and said “I have and emergency!” and proceeded to tell me the tale. I had an opening that afternoon and she brought them to me. They were indeed, diamonds! The total weight was 3.60 ct. One as SI2 J and one was VS2 K both with excellent proportions valued at 20K
