What is this?
Northern Virginia Veterans Association (NOVA Veterans, a member of PSL Fairfax Chapter) has partnered with George Mason University (GMU) in order to support and promote Veterans within GMU and across the region. The first event on 16 February 2021 is open to all with an interest in understanding current Veteran healthcare needs and how we can work together to meet them. The panel discussion will have a follow-on event in six months to share outcomes based on community-centric solutions.
Many veterans’ health conditions are being exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic. This panel will highlight ?common urgent problems, ?provide insight into these issues, and propose solutions to improve veterans’ access to care ?and services. Virginia’s Department of Veterans Services Commissioner RADM John Maxwell, USN (RET) will be a key panelist working with us on behalf of Virginia’s Veterans.
