Heidi L. Garvis, BS, CMC (Certified Care Manager)
Heidi has a degree in Human Services and has been working with older adults and their families since 2006. She has helped hundreds of families plan for care in various senior housing communities and aging-the-community environments. Her personal expertise is creating Aging Life Care™ Planning Reports. Heidi says being an Aging Life Care™ Manager allows her to incorporate two long-held passions: helping and educating people. Heidi started Caring Considerations an Aging Life Care™ Management Company in 2012 with Debbie Aggen, RN, CMC. They provide RN Care Management and more.
Heidi is a former Board Member of Senior Services of Alexandria (SSA) and volunteers for her church, her neighborhood Civic Association and the Alzheimer’s Association. Heidi is an Advanced Professional Member of the Aging Life Care™ Association.
Terri is a former museum professional and has her Masters in History as well as Museum and Archiving certifications. Her seminars educate the public in the care of items we all have as part of our own personal history; providing practical information on preservation, organization, digitization and storage of documents, mementos, photographs, scrapbooks, books, textiles (quilts, uniforms, clothes, etc.). Attendees leave with information on museum-quality care practice that they can implement for their own items to preserve their place in history.
Maria Spetalnik is a board Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) with over 20 years of experience helping others to establish control of their homes and lives by helping them to eliminate clutter. She is trained in organizational topics including chronic disorganization, hoarding, ADHD, Mental Health disorders, and elders. Her company, Conquer the Clutter, employs a team of organizers offering personalized service ranging from short-term small projects to long-term large-scale support.
Maria’s professional memberships include the Fairfax County Inter-Agency Hoarding Committee, the Institute for Chronic Disorganization, the National Association of Professional Organizers, and the Prince William Chamber of Commerce. She is a VIPS (Volunteer in Police Service) and teaches classes on clutter and hoarding at the Criminal Justice Academy as well as other venues.
